Has Tiger Woods Taken Up Journalism?
Tiger Woods appears to be writing stories for MSNBC.com and other news outlets — at least, according to the brilliant machines that run Google News.
He’s crashed into fire hydrants and come under fire for an alleged affair — so what will that crazy Tiger Woods do next? He’ll become a reporter for MSNBC.com, if the gods of Google News are to be believed.
Woods’ name is now appearing as an author on stories posted to both MSNBC.com and the Minneapolis Star Tribune. And he’s writing a heck of a lot of stuff, too.
It’s not the Microsoft analyses and underwater mine reports that impress us the most, though. It’s the stories about himself.
Impartial journalism? Maybe. But hey, he’s Tiger Woods. He’s a champion. And, perhaps most important, he’s banging Elin Nordegren. He can do whatever the fuck he wants.
