When Porn and Pizza Don’t Mix

Porn and pizza can make for quite the mess (and not in the way you’re thinking, either). Just ask three pizza-makers penalized for what happened behind closed doors.

Pizza and PornThis just in: Surfing for porn on the job is grounds for dismissal. Consider this fair warning.

Sound like an obvious statement? Well, some pizza workers from Ireland seemingly didn’t get the memo. The dough-slingers got fired for viewing “adult material” on the clock, local publications report. The best part: They’re now striking to protest their dismissals.

The would-be whackers argue they were targeted because of a past conflict with management. All that actually happened, they say, was that someone sent them an e-mail with questionable content — and they opened it.

“One of our members received an e-mail from outside the plant and was essentially dismissed for receiving an e-mail,” a union spokesperson tells the Belfast Telegraph.

“And for proceeding to view the video within whilst tenderly pleasuring himself,” he did not add.

A representative from the company tells media outlets the firings were “a cut and dry case of dismissal … [for] accessing and e-mailing adult material.” Though, to be fully accurate, “dry” may be the wrong word to describe the alleged incident at hand.

Whatever actually did or did not go down (and whatever kind of pie was or was not involved), we might suggest you stay away from the white sauce pizza for a while. Hey, better safe than sorry.
