Hello, May We Have Your Old Vibrator?
We get the idea of generating buzz (so to speak), but what the hell is a Web-based company going to do with stacks of sticky old vibrators?
From the Tough-to-Penetrate Press Release files: An online sex shop is hoping to stimulate your buying bone by asking you to send in an old, used vibrator in exchange for a discount.
The company is called MyPleasure.com. Per its recent press release:
“As the government’s Cash for Clunkers program draws to an end, MyPleasure.com … is extending the initiative and helping to stimulate the economy in its own way.
“Customers who send in an unwanted sex toy (one per customer) will receive a ten dollar credit good for purchase of any new toy.”
The promotion, thankfully, does not appear to extend to the site’s condom section.
Not answered by the release, however: whether gourds and/or root vegetables qualify as sex toys, and whether Buffalo Bill will be handling the “disposal” of old devices.

Our assumption: yes and yes.
