Sex Chip Promises Instant Orgasms, On Demand

A high-tech sex chip could one day let you trigger orgasms on demand. Is it just us, or does the Core i7 suddenly seem a lot less impressive?

Sex ChipScientists say they’re growing closer to testing a high-tech sex chip that can deliver orgasms at the touch of a button. Put it in, flip the switch, and watch “deep brain stimulation” begin. Let’s see you pull that off, Intel.

To be clear, this thing’s for real. Once you get it inside your head, it focuses on a part of your brain called the orbitofrontal cortex — a pleasure center of sorts for the body. By stimulating that area, the chip causes you to get giddier than an Apple fan salivating over the latest tablet rumor.

So how well does this bad boy actually work? Scientists cite a trial in which a woman had an early chip model implanted. She suddenly went from having a low sex drive, they say, to being a total freakin’ nympho. (Okay, they didn’t actually use the phrase “total freakin’ nympho.” But they probably should have.)

Here’s the crazy part, though: The woman didn’t like her newfound friskiness and told the doctors to pull the thing out. Men who knew her during her sexed-up phase, incidentally, say she’d never uttered those words before.

Before you get too excited, you should know that the chip isn’t quite ready for, uh, insertion just yet. You see, the current prototype has to be implemented with major surgery on your heart and brain. It also causes bleeding and is described as “invasive and crude.” Worth it? Debatable.

But MSNBC is now reporting the chip is “nearing readiness” with what we assume will be a slightly less unpleasant installation procedure. The final version will even come with its own easy on-off switch — just like your own personal orgasm oven.

Now, that’s what we call power computing.

And to think, I've been doing the same thing with Hypnosis for years now, no electronics needed (but some used can still be fun)
