3. Nature. Science journal retracts story about artificial sperm made from stem cells; apparently it too was shooting blanks.
4. Apple. Fixes SMS security flaw in iPhone OS. Because only Apple has the right to turn iPhones into $400 bricks.
5. Joel Tenenbaum. Admits to swapping files, found guilty of swapping files. Some grad students don’t know the meaning of the word ‘duh’.
