NASA shoots the moon, Microsoft sings the same old tune
1. NASA. Finds lost hi-res video of first moonwalk. Turns out guy in spacesuit was actually Michael Jackson, not Neil Armstrong.
2. Netflix. May be acquired by Amazon or Microsoft. Because any service this good must be ruined by someone larger and less competent.
3. iPhone App Store. Clocked 1.5 billion downloads last year – or slightly less than the number of titty apps banned by Apple.
4. Microsoft. Patches 9 security holes, leaves one open for hackers. Hey, cybercriminals gotta eat too.
5. Comcast. Signs up 23 TV nets for free Fancast site. Because we all remember how giving content away helped the music industry.
