The story you're about to read is not (entirely) true. It is, however, more accurate than most things on network television.

Saying it needs more time to research the creation of a new top-level domain for adult sites, the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers has locked itself in the bathroom with its laptop and refused to come out.

ICANN, the governing body that must approve the creation of all new top-level domains, says it needs another three months to deeply explore all the nuances of a new .XXX domain devoted to porn, an idea it has been deeply exploring since 2003.

"Can we just get a little privacy — please?" ICANN is quoted as saying. "My god, is that asking too much?"

ICANN added that it cannot wait until it has saved up enough money for a security deposit so it can finally get a place of its own.

An .XXX domain would give adult sites an exclusive home on the Web, offering relief to the millions of Netizens who complain that online porn is too hard to find.
