Stuck for a Halloween costume? There’s still time to go as one of these scary geeks. Just don’t blame us if instead of giving you candy they sic the dogs on you.

Still scrambling to put together a Halloween costume? We can’t all dress up as Christine O’Donnell, Michael Scarington or Perez Hellton. Here are a few more ideas with the fright stuff.

Wikipedian. By day he’s a mild-mannered librarian or poorly paid corporate research assistant. By night he’s a vanquisher of the poorly cited,  the inaccurate, the mildly suggestive, and anything else he disagrees with or feels like red penciling. Catch him while you can; this is the one night a year he leaves his parent’s basement.

Creepy Uncle Eric. Hey kiddies, want some candy? First you’ve got to come inside and let Uncle Eric show you everything he knows about where you’ve been, what you’ve done, and what you don’t want anyone else to find out. No don’t turn on the light, it’s more fun in the dark. (You mean you don’t find Eric Schmidt frightening? Try Googling him.)

Sith Lord Ballmeron.  Using the dark side, Lord Ballmeron will conquer Google and Apple and rule over the galaxy with an iron fist – right after he upgrades to Force 7, installs six critical security patches, and adds 4 more terabytes of RAM to the Death Star.

Craigslist hooker. Having been booted off the world’s best source of $25 BJs, these lovelies are forced to roam the streets at night, turning tricks for candy. The good news? They’ve got no teeth left to rot.

AT&T. Train your death ray on any cell phone within half a mile and completely kill its reception. Is there any wireless telecom scarier or more evil? We think not.

Naked Robert Scoble. When this shows up on your doorstep on All Hallow’s Eve, be afraid, be very afraid. Also be prepared to throw up a little in your mouth.
