Inside AT&T’s New Social Media Strategy

AT&T is turning to social media to try to fix its battered image. After seeing the company’s plan, though, we’re not so sure it’s going to work.

AT&T Social Media StrategyAT&T is launching a new social media effort in an attempt to change its image as the worst company of all time.

The evil eager mobile carrier has built up a social media staff of 19 people, according to a story published in AdAge this week. The company’s goal is to better communicate with customers, thereby saving its brand from “routine pummeling” on Facebook, Twitter, and other social-oriented sites.

    that plane that has crashed into the earth globe reminds me of 911 so this is very disgusting to have an image like that for a logo or anything else…!!!!!!!!!k

    reminds you of 911? That's a one seater plane… and that's the Death Star (appropriately designed to be the ATT logo)…. does any airplane of any type crashing into anything remind you of 911? Geeeeeeeeeeeeezzzzzzzzzzzzeeeeeeeeeeeeee…………………. I was working in the Pentagon when it was attacked and I see noooooooooooooooooo similarities.

    Do you work for ATT? Are you one of the chosen 19 implementing their social netorking policy? :) LOL.
