China: Porn and MemoryFeeling somewhat absent-minded lately? Maybe it’s all that porn you’ve been watching.

You read that right, folks: Good ol’ online smut, the crew at China’s state-run CCTV network suggests, could lead to memory loss. The proclamation reportedly came during a news broadcast about Google’s dirtying up of the nation’s virtual roadways. The China Economic Review uncovered some evidence indicating the wanker is one of the network’s own interns. Not that that would influence his opinion.

The sex-related medical Web sites now being banned by China, we assume, must also contribute to this memory-damaging effect. Damned doctors, always trying to contaminate innocent minds with their memory-zapping pornographic materi…

Wait a minute — what were we talking about again?
