It’s rather humorous, but Steve has got some good points. It’d be smart to research and look at both sides rather than be biased, but I do agree that apple is being a bit controlling. But who isn’t these days?

Hmm, Post your systems specs. I would like to see what hardware you actually have that runs so poorly for $1999.99.

If it's actually doing what you say it is the problem is the browser or the system my friend. Sure some poorly programmed Flash applications have memory leaks and can cause issues but not so many that it's a constant concern as you suggest.

I have many systems, one of which is a 1.2 Ghz system with only 1 Gig of ram running Windows 2000 Pro and it does not have the type of problems with flash that you are having. If you would like send me $1999.99 and I will slap an Apple Logo on it and send it to you.

God, I hear that a lot at work. People upset with their iPhone and trading in for Verizon. At least now, Sprint has the EVO 4 to pick up the deserting iPhone users as well. The EVO 4, which not only supports flash, but can download the latest flash player software from adobe's website, is able to run flash easily without crashing. Also, with the use of a task killer, you can extend your use of the phone by over twice as long. I know I've been able to play with mine for about 5 or 6 hours.

For anyone who's even thinking about commenting on the “need for a task killer”, don't bother. Despite Jobs saying that anything that uses a task killer is using poor software, the iPhone has a task killer as well. They simply don't call it a task killer. I think it's called a task BAR which you can shut down software from. Just hypocritical.

I'm still waiting for Mac to make a decent product again. Haven't seen anything worth buying since they came out with the iPod touch. Most of their computers are junk and I'm having to deal with too many pissed off customers about the crappy iPhone 4. Thank God my store sells the EVO. Sprint must be loving the way the iPhone 4's problems are sending people their way. Their CEO is already buying Christmas presents for Steve Jobs.

What kind of crappy computer do you have? I have dozens of web pages open with flash ads and even some flash games when I'm at work (I get bored sometimes. Sue me), and I don't have any problems. That and my computer only cost about $700 to build.
